 How are music videos used to convey viewpoints, attitudes and ideologies? Refer to one of the music videos you have studied to support your answer.

Within the music industry, music videos are often used to promote viewpoints, attitudes and beliefs to the audience, which reflect the artist, and this establishes a brand image for them from the portrayal the audience perceives. As shown in Burn the witch, Radiohead promote themselves to be unconventional, activists and socially aware. For example, we can see in the video that the elements of a disrupted society and the inspectors reaction of it signifies Radiohead’s view on mob mentality and the impact it has on outsiders.
